Sitting neatly in the middle of the b series, the b2’s elegant design reflects a traditional upright piano design – most markedly with the addition of legs. At a comfortable 113cm tall, the b2 delivers a versatile sound for the player, whilst still being easily accommodated within the modern home. As opposed to the b1’s laminate soundboard, the b2 supports a solid spruce soundboard which allows for a more enhanced tonal spectrum, and its improved action can cater for a wider variety of musical styles. With regards to its size and capabilities, then, the b2 is an ideal family piano, and its overall durability ensures that it is a piano for life.
